Dipl. Ing. Frank Purschke - European Patent Attorney

 

Frank Purschke graduated with a degree in Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences of Deutsche Bundespost in Berlin.

 

He developed telecommunication devices for Siemens. He was a member of standardization bodies for new telecommunication services. Later on, he worked as an in-house consultant owning the product design process for mobile phones. Following that, he ran the IPR licensing team of mobile phones focusing on European and US intellectual property rights.

 

In 2007 he joined a law firm. There he worked on a patent portfolio in the area of cellular mobile communication.

 

His experience includes patent valuation, prosecution and nullity proceedings of European and German patents, as well as, licensing proceedings in the field of telecommunication and audio/video technology. Mr. Purschke is recognized by the European Patent Office as a practicing European Patent Attorney.

 

In early 2014, Frank Purschke founded Purschke - IP-Office.

 

He speaks German and English.

 

He is a member of EPI.

 

 


 

 Dipl. Ing. John Hsing-Chong Liu - patent attorney

 

Mr. John Hsing-Chong Liu comes from Taiwan. He was a marine engineer in Taiwan before he came to Germany. After studying mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen he worked as an engine R&D engineer at BMW in Munich. Thereafter he was as Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) at Aresys Computer Technology GmbH in Munich. After more than 10 years of professional experience in various areas of law issues and court litigations, including patent and trademark infringement, he went to law school. In 2005 he became a German Patent Attorney.

 

He has professional experiences in many different fields, in particular in general mechanical engineering, power engineering, thermodynamics, solar technology, wind-power plant technology, combustion engines, Jet Engines, marine engineering, aerospace engineering, General Electrical Engineering.

 

As a patent attorney, he has extensive experiences in European and German patent and trademark applications, design patent applications and litigation in the areas of patents, utility models, designs and trademarks.

 

He speaks German, English and Chinese.

 

He is also active in the international organizations, such as AIPLA, INTA, and FICPI.
